  • Speech-Language Pathology

SpeechTherapy is a service provided by a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist.   Treatment goals focus on  improving a person’s verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Depending on the area of deficit, speech therapy may focus on improving several different areas such as speech production, understanding and expressing language, social skills, and feeding or swallowing.

A Speech-Language Pathologist is a professional who works with individuals to improve their communication and feeding skills. In pediatric treatment, a speech-language pathologist works to develop and maximize a child’s speech, language, and feeding skills in a motivating, playful setting.  The ultimate goal is to increase their independence in home and community environments, and their ability to communicate with peers and adults.

Our professional group of Speech-Language Pathologists have extensive knowledge in the treatment of communication disorders.  We serve infants through school-age, coordinating treatment between home and school
