The Live Oak Center for Communication Disorders

Specialty Services: The Live Oak Center offers specialized expertise in treatment for individuals with PDD/Autism Spectrum disorders, oral motor disorders, feeding disorders and auditory processing disorders.  We have certified/registered providers for Neuro-Developmental Treatment, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Beckman Oral Motor, Interactive Metronome, The Listening Program, and Fast ForWord training programs.  Interdisciplinary evaluations and treatment are available to provide a comprehensive look at the whole child for areas of speech, language, learning, feeding, motor, and sensory development.

Clinical Professionals

There are six speech-language pathologists certified by the

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

and licensed by the

Texas State Board of Licensure for Audiology and Speech Pathology. 

Our physical therapist is licensed by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.  Our two occupational therapists are licensed by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. 

Location

Our location is in the central medical district between 35th and 38th Streets at 3724 Jefferson, Suite 316. 

There is ample, free parking.  All clinic areas are accessible.  Most of our services are provided in the clinic, although on-site assessments are available for home-bound or hospital bound clients.  School based consultations are also available.
